今天是父親節，撥了電話給楊爸，說聲父親節快樂。
同時，也得知外公情況開始危急。

「也許我們都要做好心理準備」楊媽是這麼說的。

不知道為什麼，從昨天一直回想起迪士尼動畫《泰山》主題曲，菲爾柯林斯 (Phil Collins)所寫的這首《You'll Be In My Heart》。

雖然情況有些不同，從小我是在爺爺懷抱中長大，可是在爺爺因癌症過世後，我卻總是只能從相片中找尋對他的記憶。然後是外公牽著我走在高雄市區街道的記憶，不管到哪，總是背著我走動的外公，直到他再也背不動我，然而在每次回高雄山東街時，總是會輕聲地問起我每一階段的生活。

而這雙曾經扶持我的手，逐漸凋零，如今的父親節卻只能在加護病房中，等待時間給予他的結局到來。

母親說，院方已經盡力了，外公也努力了，但也許是時間到了，因此決定撤走所有的急救措施，等待最後一刻的來臨...
